Our expertise
We have spent over fourteen years getting to know the people at the heart of education, learning and professional development. That deep understanding of these audiences is what sets us apart. Whether your organisation needs to hear from classroom teachers, school leaders, university lecturers, FE college leaders or chartered professionals, we know how to reach them and how to get meaningful insight from the conversations.
UK Schools
We work across the full UK schools landscape, from early years and primary through to secondary, sixth form and school careers provision. Our audiences include school leaders, heads of department, classroom teachers, parents and pupils. We maintain our own panel of 450+ teachers and school staff, which means we can recruit the right participants quickly and with confidence.
Recent projects have included researching curriculum change practices for a national curriculum body, exploring KS3 maths pedagogy for a publisher, investigating careers education provision in secondary schools, conducting phonics research with primary teachers for a publisher, and running evaluation work for subject associations involving teachers and pupils

International Education
We have carried out research with schools and educators in over 20 countries, spanning primary, secondary and English language teaching. Our founder's background in ELT publishing gives us particular depth in this area, and we have longstanding relationships with international publishers and awarding bodies.
Projects have included researching international teacher communities across multiple European and Latin American markets for a major pubisher, exploring how coursebook formats work for teachers in different countries, and investigating the needs of ELT learners and educators for awarding bodies.
Further and Higher Education
We research the needs and experiences of those working and studying in further education colleges, universities and business schools, including academic and research staff. This includes work on qualification, institutional decision-making and academic publishing.
Recent projects have included researching FE college leaders views on Level 3 qualification reform for an awarding body, investigating how schools and colleges make decisions about initial teacher training providers, and conducting research into academic publishing needs.

Professional Learning and Membership
We work with professional bodies, membership organisations and learned societies to help them understand their members, develop their qualifications and CPD programmes, and make evidence-based decisions about their membership offer. This is a growing area of our work, and we bring the same rigour and depth of audience understanding that we apply in education.
Recent projects have included member and stakeholder research for veterinary, medical, school leadership and governance bodies, exploring topics from event satisfaction and member engagement through to qualifications and professional development pathways. We have also researched the needs of lapsed and potential members to help organisations understand barriers to joining and reasons for leaving.
